So far so good, although the one change I would make is the water dispenser. The water dispenser is on the left hand side, I think it would be more convenient on the other side since most people are right handed. Not a big deal but if I were to redesign it I would put it on the right hand side.

In 3days the freezer compartment light quit working. Everytime you open the freezer drawer several ice cubes dropdown behind the drawer. Bottom basket stacks everything so you have to unload to see what™€™s in there.

Space in the refrigerator is huge and well lit with lots of shelves and drawers , the freezer holds quite a bit also but no option to adjust the bins, my only complaint is when the ice tray is full, when you open the freezer the arm drags ice into the bottom of the freezer

The gentlemen who installed it did not hook up the water system. The repairman who came out to fix it hooked it up. The light in the freezer went out. Since the ice cube tray was overflowing, I emptied it. The light came back on. Now I'm just hoping that it starts making ice again!!

Replace this fridge from an older 16year Whirlpool

I bought it and delivered July 16th, many issues with Home Depot over delivery and hallway. I am pleased with the functionality of the fridge. How ever it appears the motor is running more frequently than previous Whirlpool fridge it replaced. We do not have water and ice attached but it still makes a sound occasionally like it it dropping ice. I originally set the freezer to 0 as the instructions advised but I have raised it to 3 and while it has improved the running time of the motor it™€™s not where the old fridge was.

I would never purchase this item again --- I needed a refrigerator and it was the only that fit my kitchen available. I had to call serviceman the 3rd day after I received it as the freezer would not close completely and frost built up everywhere. The handles were not designed by a female as they open upside down and fill with stuff. The butter shelf has no cover to help keep butter from getting freezing cold and hard. The water dispenser is very inconvenient for any right-handed person - you have to push button with left hand and hold container with the right. I wish this one would just go away. My LG was wonderful until a shelf broke.

And greatly appreciate the delivery guys who went above & beyond for going up 2-levels of stairs to my condo as heavy it was. Can you please add a tip function to the check-out experience? It take so much manpower to lift such a heavy item up and down the stairs and its removal of the old refrigerator as well. Great physical demand. Give them a raise!!!

Good fridge so far, very spacious. Freezer compartment could be a little larger, would be willing to sacrifice fridge pace. Also having the meat drawer as full width is inconvenient since it requires you to open both doors to access just the meat drawer. Only real issue the fridge has.

The ice maker performance has been frustrating at best. The ice tray is set too far back and ice cubes fall over the sides. Additionally, the freezer light intermittently goes out. At one point the ice maker was not making cubes.

Plastic door shelves are flimsy and inferior to previous Whirlpool/Amana fridge ™€" I would have kept the old ones if I could. The old fridge held up for 16 years; seriously doubt this one will.

Failed after 13 days

After 13 days of normal indoor kitchen use under ideal conditions, the compressor has failed resulting in rising temps in the fridge/freezer and the loss of contents. This of course happened at night so we did not notice until the next day when it was too late to salvage much of our food - the entire freezer section had thawed. The compressor now makes a rumbling/rattling noise when it attempts to come on, sometimes it does, sometimes it does not. Bought from Lowe's with a very unrealistic 48 hour warranty in terms of replacement, so I am forced to go to Whirlpool for warranty repair OF A FRIDGE LESS THAN TWO WEEKS OLD. Not happy at all. Basically paid $2000+ for a broken unit that is now mine. Repair company arranged by Whirlpool who lied and said they were available the next morning, when they were in fact not available until the next afternoon - not normally a big deal other than the fact that we are without a fridge. Repair technician of course could not replicate the problem as the compressor is now failing intermittently (we're not using the fridge so the compressor has little to keep cool) - a fridge that occasionally fails is not useful at all. Won't buy Whirlpool again and won't shop Lowe's again.

It runs fine. When the doors close, the items in the doors make a terrible noise compared to our previous Frig. You know that many of those items are in glass containers, so research other materials to dull the noise plus perform normally.

French Door refrigerator

Refrigerator performs as described and does fine for cooling and freezing. The lighting needs to be added down the sides. Since it is only on the top the lower shelves are dark and harder to see what is on them. The drawers for the meats and produce are made from a very thin plastic and poor quality. I expect they will break or crack before long. They need to be thicker and more sturdy and not so loose and sloppy when being pulled out. Would be nice if the ice container was at the front of the freezer drawer so it would not have to be pulled out all the way out to access the ice.

I have had this frig for a little over a week. So far it has been great. I like the water dispenser inside and the ice maker in the bottom drawer. I gives a lot more storage for things on the left hand door. It runs quiet which is nice after our old frig as it was getting quite noisy. I am also glad this frig came in black so we could match our other appliances.

Upon delivery™€¦ it was dented, had gashes on inside, water spout leaked and made a high pitch whistle sound. They replaced it but this one is also dented! Plus, when trying to get cheese from deli drawer, have to open both doors. If I weren™€™t in an emergency situation, it™€™s not the model I would choose. I paid more for this than my mother paid for a smart fridge and it™€™s underwhelming!!!
